Summer Teddy Bears' Picnic - Saturday 1st August 2009 - Indoors at Lydiard House

The theme of this year’s summer picnic is all about Bears – teddy bears, polar bears, koala bears, Rupert, Pooh, Paddington and others.  The picnic will take place on Saturday 1st August 11.00 - 2:00 at Lydiard Park in front of Lydiard House OR

If it is raining we will still have the picnic and all of the events but we will move indoors at Lydiard House.  'We have booked the "Education Room" located in the stable block opposite the Lydiard House Conference Centre.  The stable block is only 100 yards from the cafe/play area.  The Conference Centre is attached to left hand side of Lydiard House and has its own car park.  This is signposted Lydiard Park Conference Centre and St Mary’s Church and is reached via the Lydiard Park driveway off Hay Lane / Tregoze Wayoor

This family event has been a great success in previous years giving an opportunity for family and friends to join in the fun and at the same time for STORM to raise some much needed funds.  Bring along a picnic.

There will be a very special (furry!) guest, teddy bear goodies and pocket-money games for children and parents alike.  Entrance is free for members’ twins and triplets.  A nominal fee of £1 per sibling or additional child will be charged to help towards covering our costs.
